Cavas El Mas Ferrer is a family enterprise located in Ca l'Avi, a small village within the Subirats municipality wich is the largest in L'Alt Penedès district.

Written records show that our wine-making origins go back to 1863, when our great grandfather Miquel Ferrer i Jover was already an experienced vine-grower.

However, it was in 1974 when the Ferrer family manufactured the first bottles of cava on their own following the traditional method also called "champenoise".
